Über diese Veranstaltung
Modern dentistry is increasingly shaped by two major trends: the shift towards minimally invasive approaches that preserve as much tooth structure as possible, and the move towards metal-free, tooth-colored restorations. These restorations must withstand demanding multi-factorial oral conditions, and some failures related to technical and/or biological aspects are to be anticipated.
This webinar reviews findings from clinical studies on the survival of glass ceramic complete and partial coverage restorations. It presents data on the incidence of endodontic therapy following placement of either complete or partial coverage glass ceramic restorations, and addresses the question of implant-retained restorations as a terminal treatment modality – examining whether they truly represent a complication-free solution.
